"I had a session of EFT to help with my nerves surrounding my son having an operation underal general anaesthetic. I felt much calmer and at ease about the whole thing by the end of the session and on the day of the op, when things took a lot longer than i had expected and there was nobody to tell me why, tapping helped me to stay calm as i waited. Thank you And Breathe, would highly recommend to anyone with any worries, concerns, cravings or pains that are getting to you." EC
"Gillian is fantastic at what she does, she's knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. I have done EFT with her before and experienced soothing results almost immediately. I highly recommend her services. Gillian is passionate and enthusiastic about everything she does." AB
"I went to Gillian for EFT / Tapping before an interview. Although positive about trying it, I was initially sceptical and felt self-conscious. Gillian put me at ease and listened intently without judgement. With her gently facilitating, I named how I was feeling and we tapped on those emotions. I left her that day feeling more confident and in control. I tapped as I got changed for the interview, I tapped in the car to get me in the door and I tapped again once inside the building. During the interview when I had a wobbly moment, I used the “first aid” technique she taught me to re-focus. It’s worth saying, I did get the job! I have transferred the skills to various challenges I have faced since then, however, would gladly return to Gillian to refresh." LJ
"Wow, honestly cannot express how grateful I am for this experience of working with Gillian . I had a session for pain I have been experiencing on and off for 12 years. She was so understanding, supportive and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at The Sanctuary. When I went in, my pain was so bad I felt tearful. At the end of my session I felt like I could have gone for a run. Honestly it totally blew my mind! Love love love it! Thanks and heartfelt gratitude!" SM😘😘💖😍💖😍
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a body/mind self-help method. It combines a gentle touch together with mindful and vocal attention to thoughts and feelings. EFT involves tapping with our fingertips on acupuncture points on the hands, face and body while focusing (temporarily) upon an issue we wish to resolve. While ongoing scientific research continues to document and validate EFT as an effective treatment worthy of being mainstreamed, what is remarkable is that it works so well. EFT allows us to release and transform the uncomfortable feelings like hurt, guilt, fear, or anger that may be affecting our experience. EFT can also be used to help transform the thoughts and beliefs behind our emotional experiences. After just a few rounds of tapping, people often report feeling lighter and calmer and able to breathe more easily – almost as if they now have more space inside. They may report that their thinking has changed, they have gained new insights or that they are feeling better, overall. As we begin to notice, acknowledge, and transform how we carry our emotions, we begin to see just how this may be contributing to pain, illness, or other personal challenges. By using EFT, we can reconnect with our innate sense of unshakeable wellbeing. Developed by engineer Gary Craig and inspired largely from the work of Dr. Roger Callahan, EFT is easy to learn and flexible enough to be used by anyone. As we explore EFT for ourselves, we become empowered to respond to our own emotional states and help ourselves feel better. With the aid of this simple and natural healing tool, we can discover just how our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions affect our bodies and our lives – and how we can more consciously make the changes we desire.
