I felt much calmer and at ease about the whole thing by the end of the session and on the day of the op, when things took a lot longer than i had expected and there was nobody to tell me why, tapping helped me to stay calm as i waited. "I went to Gillian for EFT / Tapping before an interview. Although positive about trying it, I was initially sceptical and felt self-conscious. Gillian put me at ease and listened intently without judgement. With her gently facilitating, I named how I was feeling and we tapped on those emotions. I left her that day feeling more confident and in control. I tapped as I got changed for the interview, I tapped in the car to get me in the door and I tapped again once inside the building. July 2020: Gillian worked with my daughter on her anxiety about wearing a face mask. Before the session, at the sight of a mask, my daughter would become extremely upset. Through song, we tapped as a family whilst saying what was upsetting about wearing masks. Each time we tapped on one of these feelings, Gillian gently helped her to balance with a positive reason for wearing one (keeping people we love safe, stopping germs spreading...) First hand I watched my daughter start the session a bit unsure and become more and more comfortable and vocal! Gillian made it fun and light hearted, following from her lead, whilst keeping focussed. Since the session my daughter now puts on the mask to go into a shop without commenting and keeps it on. I won’t say she loves wearing it, but from where we were, the progress is amazing!
